Three generations of antiques and collectibles filled the storage areas in this home. The client wanted to display and enjoy these treasures, but didn't want the home to look or feel like a museum. The paneled library was the perfect place to start.
The bookcases were filled with a mixture of books, old and new, a collection of bird plates, paper weighs salt cellars and other unusual collectibles. The marriage of books and artifacts created interesting vignettes to catch the eye and open a window into these reminders of the past.
